Hi, my name is Ymir! (Pronounced “Eemid”; he/him)

I'm a Supervising Storyboard Artist originally from northern Iceland, raised in Reykjavík and New Jersey, now based in Copenhagen. I studied Graphic Storytelling at The Animation Workshop in Denmark, where I discovered a passion for cross-cultural narratives and visual storytelling.

Since then, I’ve worked internationally on a wide range of animated projects, including Le Gardien du Feu at Gao Shan Pictures, Super Turbo Story Time at Titmouse, and most recently served as Lead Storyboard Artist on Ormhildur the Brave at Animation Studio Iceland. I also contribute to education as a censor and mentor at The Animation Workshop.
