Storyboard Artist
Although the script was still in development I was tasked with creating storyboards based on the few scenes the Director (Jeanne I.) wanted to see animated to feel out the rest of the story. These are some of those early tests that were made before any location or character designs existed:
Before I created the animatics I first thumbnailed out the whole sequence and pitched to the director. These were some of my favorite stages of the storyboard production because they felt so similar to making comic books.
Concept Designer
Jeanne (the Director) often asked me how I would imagine this or that scene and below are some examples of the drawings I made to illustrate my ideas. The last image was baed on a background I made in animatic that I roughly painted as a background style test.
